Aquatic World

Aquatic World is Central New York's PADI 5 Star IDC dive center, based in Syracuse. With 13 PADI Instructors on staff, the team guides divers through every level — from a first PADI Open Water Certification all the way to Master Scuba Diver, Divemaster and Assistant Instructor.

Training and courses

The Open Water Certification is where most divers begin, building the basic knowledge and skills to explore the underwater world safely. The course runs up to 30 hours of classroom and pool instruction plus four open water dives, and finishes with an internationally recognised PADI qualification. Aquatic World is the only CNY dive center with its own on-site training pool, alongside an on-site classroom for year-round convenience.

Beyond courses, the center offers air fills, nitrox, equipment sales, servicing and rental, plus an on-site retail shop. With adaptive services, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi and parking, it suits everyone from complete beginners to divers working toward professional ratings. Instruction is offered in English.
