Búvártanoda

Búvártanoda is a PADI Five Star Dive Center based in Budapest, Hungary. First opened in November 2004, the center moved to Attila út in District I in 2016, settling into a well-equipped dive shop and training hub on the Buda side of the city. What sets this team apart is a genuine love of the underwater world — they became divers above all to explore the life hidden beneath the surface, and they pass that enthusiasm on to every student.

Courses and learning

This is one of the few schools in the country where you can study marine biology and conservation alongside diving, from the basics through to advanced level. With six PADI instructors, courses run from the PADI Open Water Diver Course to PADI Enriched Air Diver, plus PADI First Aid (EFR) and Project Aware conservation activities.

More club than classroom, Búvártanoda keeps divers connected after certification through continuing education, dive trips and club days. On site you'll find a classroom, free Wi-Fi and a retail shop, with courses taught in English, Hungarian and other languages on request.
