Galathea Diving Center

Galathea Diving Center is a PADI 5 Star Dive Center based in Budapest, Hungary, with roots stretching back to 1998, when the company first offered full-service diving under a different name. Named after Galatea, the loveliest sea nymph of Greek mythology, the center reflects a lasting bond to the sea and to classic values such as trust, responsibility and friendship.

Courses and services

A team of 3 PADI Instructors guides divers through PADI Scuba Diving and Snorkelling programs, along with PADI First Aid and Emergency First Response training. Lessons are supported by an onsite classroom, and instruction is available in English, Spanish and Hungarian, making the center welcoming to both local and international divers.

On site you'll find a retail shop, free Wi-Fi and parking. Services cover air fills, Nitrox and equipment sales, with rental gear for adults and children as well as scooter (DPV) rental. It's a well-rounded home base for divers who want training, air and equipment all in one place.
