Bakersfield Scuba Center

Bakersfield Scuba Center is a family-owned, one-stop dive shop that has served California's Central Valley for almost two decades. As a PADI 5-Star IDC Training Center with five PADI instructors on staff, this Bakersfield shop has built its reputation on friendly, accommodating service for divers at every level.

Courses and training

The team teaches all levels of diving, from first-timers right through to side mount and technical diving. Course offerings span PADI Scuba Diving, PADI TecRec, PADI Snorkelling, conservation programs, and PADI First Aid / EFR — making it a genuine home base for anyone in the area looking to start out or push further.

On site you'll find a classroom, a retail shop, free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and parking, plus an Adaptive Services Facility. The center handles air fills, equipment sales, and a full range of rentals, and even runs a dive club for the local community. Instruction is offered in English.
