Beach Cities Scuba

Beach Cities Scuba Centers are the largest independent full-service dive centers in Orange County. Spread across five locations, they cover everything a diver could need under one roof — instruction, rentals, repairs, and travel — with the experienced staff and professional standards you'd expect from a PADI 5 Star IDC facility backed by 62 PADI instructors.

Training and local diving

All levels of scuba training are on offer here, making this a strong fit for anyone from first-time divers to those working toward instructor ratings. When it's time to get in the water, the shop's dive boat, The Riviera — a 40ft, Coast Guard certified vessel — serves divers, snorkelers, underwater hunters, photographers, and private charters alike.

The surrounding coastline gives plenty of variety, with dive sites including Casino Point Dive Park, Bird Rock at Catalina Island, Point Dume, Leo Carrillo, Shaw's Cove, Crescent Bay, and the multiple sites around Laguna Beach. With staff speaking English, Japanese, and Arabic, it's a welcoming base for a wide range of divers.
