Bigorno Diving Center

Bigorno Diving Centre is a local, family-run PADI 5 Star Dive Center that has spent 7 years working the north-west coast of Mauritius, based at Trou aux Biches with a second location at Grand Baie. Director and Instructor Nelson brings 39 years in the industry, alongside his son Jordan, Manager and Instructor with 12 years of experience, backing a team of 3 instructors, 2 divemasters, a skipper and a secretary.

Courses and diving

With 5 PADI Instructors and 11 courses and activities, the centre suits everyone from first-timers to those building experience. You can take the PADI Open Water Diver, Scuba Diver, Deep Diver, Rescue Diver, Enriched Air Diver, Digital Underwater Photographer, EFR and a Scuba Refresher, taught in English, French and Italian.

Divers explore local sites including Djabeda, KT Mawa, Shamentha, Carpenter Reef, Djabeda Wreck, Lost Anchor and Confetti Bay, where marine life ranges from sharks and rays to turtles, eels and reef fish. On-site you'll find a training pool, classroom, retail shop, dive boat, free Wi-Fi and accommodation.
