About Ocean Spirit Scuba Diving Mauritius
From the day you arrive at Ocean Spirit Scuba Diving Mauritius, you're among friends. This PADI 5 Star Dive Center has been established for over 15 years, working across Trou Aux Biches and Grand Baie with four PADI Instructors whose Dive Masters give great, safety-focused briefings — and who genuinely know their fish and love their world.
Courses and diving
The center offers a full range of PADI training, from Discover Scuba Diving (from USD 92) and the Open Water Diver course through to Advanced Open Water, Enriched Air Nitrox and the Best of the North 10-Dive Package. Half-day wreck trips explore Trou Aux Biches, and the team dives the great sites around the North, including cleaning stations, deep dives, wrecks and aquarium-like reefs such as Djabeda, Carpenter Reef, Lost Anchor and Stella Maru.
As a PADI ECO CENTRE, Ocean Spirit practises what it believes — supporting local suppliers, minimising packaging and cutting out plastics. With an onsite classroom and English and French spoken, it suits new and experienced divers alike who want a friendly, conservation-minded home for exploring Mauritius.

Gear is mostly new and the team is very capable and helpful. I recommend Coral Garden in the area. Barracuda, Sting Ray, Turtle, Javanese Morays were among the sights within one dive.
★ 5 · Charles Edouard · 2011-09-14I recently spent 6 weeks diving with Cedric and his team at Ocean Spirit. I managed to clock up to 35 dives with them including the PADI ADV OW and Nitrox course. As a returning customer I found that they had a beautifully renovated dive centre and there was also a lot of new rental equipment. The ever reliable and dedicated Rodney is still with the club always providing great insight on the dive sites. The dive team has also grown to include Dorianne, Burty and Rommie (the hard working skipper). The group always makes you feel welcome and are very attentive to your needs. Best, they always manage to make you relax before diving. Nothing is too rushed and they always manage to be on time. Each dive trip was interesting and well briefed by the dive leads. On this trip we came across dolphins (swam with them), sea turtle, octopus, eagle ray, marlin, barrracuda, moray eels and of course a humpback whale and her cub. The diving experience was complete and one to remember. I'll be a back next year to dive them again.
