Black Beard Sports

Black Beard Sports is a PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Center based in Vieques, Puerto Rico, with a team of six PADI instructors. After 15 years in operation, this is a well-established base for exploring the waters around Culebra and Vieques.

Courses and diving

Whether you're starting out or building toward your next certification, the centre runs PADI Scuba Diving courses along with PADI First Aid and EFR training. Divers head out by boat, and on-site air fills, equipment sales, and scuba rental mean you can travel light and still get in the water.

The reefs here are alive with sharks, whales, turtles, ocean fish, rays, eels, echinoderms, molluscs and crustaceans, alongside corals, anemones and jellyfish. With a retail shop, dive boat, and staff who speak both English and Spanish, Black Beard Sports suits curious first-timers and returning divers looking to dive Puerto Rico's east-island waters.
