Blanes Sub, S.L.

Blanes Sub is one of the oldest dive centres on the Costa Brava, founded in 1994 to serve the many clubs that had chosen the beach at Punta de Santa Anna in Blanes for their diving practice. Sitting 65 km from Barcelona, it's a welcoming base for anyone learning to dive close to the water, with a pick-up service offered from the Blanes train station.

Courses and diving

As a PADI Dive Center with 4 PADI Instructors, Blanes Sub runs its training right on its home ground. The signature dive site is Punta Santa Anna, and divers here can encounter sharks, whales, turtles, ocean fish, molluscs and crustaceans, corals, anemones and jellyfish, eels and echinoderms.

An onsite classroom, dive boat, air conditioning and free Wi-Fi round out the facilities, with air fills, nitrox, equipment sales and full scuba rental — including children's sizes — on hand. With staff speaking English, Spanish, French and Catalan, it suits new and returning divers alike.
