Blue blue

Diving Shop Blue Blue takes its name from the many blue oceans at the heart of its work. Based in Marugame, Kagawa, on Japan's Shikoku island, the centre runs tours mainly across the four Shikoku prefectures of Ehime, Kagawa, Kochi and Tokushima, while also reaching elsewhere in Japan and overseas. Recognised as a PADI 5 Star Dive Center, it puts safety first and aims to share the wonder of every ocean it visits.

Courses and what's on offer

Blue Blue offers PADI C-card certification courses, with PADI Scuba Diving, PADI Snorkelling and PADI First Aid (EFR) on the roster. Nitrox is available, and the centre keeps a full range of rental gear, including children's sizes. An onsite classroom, free Wi-Fi, air conditioning and parking round out the facilities.

Divers here may encounter sharks, whales, turtles, ocean fish, rays, eels, corals, anemones, molluscs and crustaceans. Staff speak English, Japanese and Filipino, making it a welcoming choice for visiting divers and newcomers working toward certification alike.
