Blue Corner

Based in Shizuoka, Japan, Blue Corner is a PADI 5 Star Dive Center backed by a team of 8 PADI Instructors. It's an easy destination for divers coming from Tokyo, Kanagawa or Nagoya, reachable by car, bullet train, or via stations at Shizuoka, Fuji and Numazu — and for those staying nearby in Izu or Shizuoka, the shop can point you toward hotels and guest houses.

Courses and diving

The center runs a full slate of PADI training, from Scuba Diving and Freediving to Mermaid, Snorkelling and First Aid (EFR), alongside a conservation focus. In the waters off Shizuoka, divers encounter sharks, whales, turtles and ocean fish, making it a rewarding base for both new and returning divers.

Facilities include air conditioning, a retail shop, an aquarium and deep pool for training, and parking. Services cover air fills, equipment sales and rental, and a dive club, with a wide range of gear available. Japanese is spoken here, so it suits divers comfortable in that language looking for a well-equipped, instructor-led home base.
