Blue Lagoon Beach Resort

Set in the Yasawa Islands of Fiji, the Blue Lagoon Dive Center is a 5* PADI operation built around 35 dive sites — a spread of reefs, walls, drop offs, swim throughs and pinnacles, with sites lying just three to 25 minutes away. Guided dives run from a boat three times a day, every day, at 9 am, 11 am and 3 pm, with equipment and a guide supplied. Shore dives can be arranged on request.

Courses and specialties

The full range of PADI courses is on offer here, from a first introduction dive or the Open Water Course all the way up to Dive Master. Specialty dives include Deep, Search and Recover, and Shark Aware — a natural fit given the center's headline experience.

Blue Lagoon is famous for its calm blue waters, with common sightings of turtles, lobster and nudibranch. The standout is the Shark Encounter dive, where black and white tip reef sharks, lemon sharks and bull sharks move through their natural environment. It suits everyone from first-timers to divers chasing that unique shark experience.
