Blue Water Divers has served Bergen County for over 20 years, and it remains a genuine one-stop shop for divers. Alongside diving and swimming instruction, the team sells equipment and helps arrange — or personally escorts — trips to some of the world's most fabulous and exotic dive destinations. With its own heated pool on premises, this is a rare place where learning and gearing up happen under one roof.

Courses, sites and who it suits

As a PADI 5 Star IDC with 23 PADI instructors, the center covers PADI Scuba Diving, TecRec, Snorkelling and EFR first aid. Air fills, Nitrox, Trimix and mixed gas are all on hand, along with rental gear for adults and kids and an active dive club.

Local training and outings head to Lake Phoenix, Dutch Springs, Lake Phoenix Scuba Park and Lake Hydra. Because the pool sits just 50 feet from the classroom, busy schedules are easy to accommodate. With staff speaking six languages — English, Spanish, Dutch, French, German and Japanese — it suits newcomers and seasoned divers alike.
