Blue Wave Divers

Tucked away on Caye Caulker, Blue Wave Divers is a family-owned dive shop whose combined years in the water have helped earn it a reputation as one of the best on the island. The focus here is deliberately small: tours and courses run with small groups, so you get the kind of attention that turns a first descent into something you remember.

Courses on the reef

This is a PADI Resort with 2 PADI instructors, and all courses are taught right at the Barrier Reef — meaning you encounter the marine life on your very first training dives. Offerings span PADI Scuba Diving and PADI First Aid (EFR), with a dive club for those who want to keep going.

The shop sits in a waterfront location with an onsite classroom and its own dive boat. From here you can reach the South Channel, where divers share the water with sharks, whales, turtles and ocean fish. Staff speak English and Spanish, making it a welcoming spot for new and returning divers alike.
