Plan this trip with AI →At Blue Wilderness Dive Adventures Corp., every dive is a personalized guided tour built around your level — whether you're pulling on a mask for the first time or working toward the professional ranks. As a fully staffed, authorized PADI Dive Center on the Big Island of Hawaii, they offer PADI's full line of certifications and specialty courses, with flexible scheduling and small groups to help every diver succeed.
The Big Island serves up remarkably varied terrain: canyons, arches, swim-through lava tubes, caverns, and expansive coral reefs. Divers on the Kohala coast often react with amazement at reefs described as pristine and virtually undiscovered. The Puako reef showcases green sea turtles, a manta ray cleaning station, and abundant garden eels, while the waters north of Kawahai hold large schools of fish and beautiful fields of coral.
With environments suited to beginners and advanced divers alike, this center is a natural fit for anyone eager to explore Hawaii's underwater world close to shore.

★ 4 · Corina Feuerstein · 2009-12-31My son got his PADI certification with Blue Wilderness last week while we were on vacation on Big Island. Everything went great, we were able to fit the certification in with our vacation plans thanks to their flexibility, while still maintaining all the requirements for studied material, pool time and open water dives. My son felt very comfortable with the instructors and crew, and left with a feeling of wanting to come back and do more ! Their shop's location is also very convenient (walking distance) if you are staying in the Waikoloa area (Marriott, Hilton and the condos in the area). Thanks for a great experience !
