Brave Diver

Set on the waterfront at Doljo, Panglao Island in the Philippines, Brave Diver is a PADI 5 Star IDC Resort backed by a team of 30 PADI instructors. The centre runs an onsite training pool, a dedicated classroom and a house reef, supported by a fleet of dive boats and an Adaptive Services Facility — a setup that suits everyone from first-timers in the pool to divers building toward instructor level.

Courses and diving around Panglao

Training spans PADI Scuba Diving, TecRec, Freediving, Mermaid and Snorkelling programmes, with First Aid (EFR) and conservation courses rounding out the offering. Air fills, Nitrox and Trimix are available, alongside scuba, kids', freediving and scooter (DPV) rental.

Local dive sites include Pamilacan Island, Doljo Point, Alona Beach House Reef, Tawala MPA, Arco Point, Napaling and the Doljo house reef, among others. Divers can expect sharks, whales, turtles, ocean fish, corals, anemones and jellyfish. With Mandarin spoken and onsite accommodation, food and drinks, retail shop, free Wi-Fi and parking, it's an easy base for a diving-focused stay.
