The Bulgarian Diving Academy in Sozopol welcomes everyone from first-timers taking their very first breath underwater to seasoned divers chasing new adventures. As a PADI 5 Star IDC centre, it pairs great professionalism with safe, well-maintained equipment — and the friendships and unforgettable dives that come with it.

Courses and what it's known for

With two PADI Instructors on staff, the academy issues certifications recognised worldwide. You can train from your first scuba course right through to professional level, qualifying to work as an instructor at PADI centres anywhere. Snorkelling and EFR first-aid training round out the PADI offering, and a full range of rental gear is on hand for divers of every size, including children.

On site you'll find a classroom, retail shop, air-conditioning, free Wi-Fi and parking, plus air fills, Nitrox and equipment sales. The team speaks English, Bulgarian and Russian, making it a comfortable, well-equipped base for exploring the waters off Sozopol.
