Cebu Fun Divers

Warm tropical water, colourful marine life and dramatic deep walls draw scuba divers from all over the world to Cebu Fun Divers, tucked inside Cebu Seaview Dive Resort on the quiet southern end of Panagsama Beach in Moalboal, Philippines. Sitting right on the waterfront in front of a teeming coral reef, this PADI 5 Star Dive Center runs boats out to the nearby sites several times a day, with regular night dives at 6:30 pm.

Sites and marine life

Every dive brings good chances of turtles, barracuda and schools of sardines, alongside colourful reef dwellers like parrotfish, trumpetfish, cuttlefish, angelfish and batfish. Whitetip and blacktip sharks patrol Pescador Island and Ronda Marine Park, and whale shark encounters are not uncommon. The house reef right out front is a highlight in itself: a shallow, coral-covered plateau dropping to a steep wall that plummets past 50 metres (170 feet).

With 3 PADI Instructors, an onsite training pool, enriched air (Nitrox), air fills and equipment rental, it suits divers looking for easy shore access between boat dives. English is spoken, and the retail shop, free Wi-Fi and fish ID books round out the facilities.
