Plan this trip with AI →Established in 1974 on the Port of Rague in the Alpes Maritimes (Department 06), Centre de Plongée de la Rague is one of the historically known diving centres of the South of France. Open all year round, it sits in the bay of Cannes between Mandelieu la Napoule and Théoule sur Mer, in the heart of the Esterel departmental maritime park.
As a PADI Dive Center, the school offers training supervised by professional instructors qualified in PADI, FFESSM and TDI, with the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course running approximately 2 days. Divers explore an incredible playground of more than 60 dive sites, most near the Lérins Islands or the Esterel nature reserve at Cap Roux — among them Batéguier, La Digue, L'Enfer de Dante, Les Roches Trompettes, Les 2 Frères, La Roche d'Aurelle and La Fouillée.
From snorkelling to technical diving, the centre suits everyone: scuba diving is accessible from 8 years old, and children and seniors are warmly welcomed. Underwater life here can include sharks, whales, turtles, ocean fish, rays, eels, molluscs, crustaceans, corals and anemones.
