Chindonan Dive & Beach Resort

Set on its own private island between Coron and Culion in Northern Palawan, Chindonan Dive & Beach Resort sits directly in front of the famous WW2 Japanese shipwrecks of Coron Bay — a fleet of 10 ships bombed by a US air raid from Manila in September 1944. Surrounded by stunning reefs, the centre runs a mix of wreck and reef dives all year round, with sharks, whales, turtles and ocean fish among the marine life you may encounter.

Courses and diving

A PADI 5 Star Dive Resort with 3 PADI Instructors, Chindonan offers 12 courses and activities, from the PADI ReActivate Scuba Refresher and Enriched Air Diver through to Advanced Open Water, Deep Diver, Wreck Specialty, Rescue Diver, Diver Propulsion Vehicle Diver and Emergency First Response. Technical divers are catered for too — just give a heads-up before arrival.

The dive shop has a full recreational equipment setup, 2 compressors and 12 and 15 litre Air and Nitrox tanks, with rental gear included on dives and courses. With a house reef, waterfront location, onsite classroom and English and Tagalog spoken, it suits divers chasing Coron's wrecks at every level.
