Club Kids Sapporo

Based in Hokkaido, Japan, Club Kids Sapporo is a PADI 5 Star IDC dive centre — the tier reserved for facilities that train not only divers but future instructors. With five PADI Instructors on the team, it's a place geared toward serious progression as much as first breaths underwater.

Courses and what to expect

The centre runs PADI Scuba Diving courses alongside PADI First Aid (EFR) training, so you can build from your opening certification through to the safety skills that back it up. Equipment sales and a full scuba rental range — including drysuits, 5mm wetsuits, BCDs, regulators, fins, masks, boots and gauges — mean you can arrive light and still be properly kitted for Hokkaido's cooler waters.

On site you'll find a retail shop, a dive boat and parking. Instruction and service are offered in Japanese, making this a natural fit for divers who want a well-resourced, instructor-led base in northern Japan — from newcomers to those chasing professional-level PADI ratings.
