Club Subaquatique de Vernier (CSV)

Set on the shores of Geneva, Switzerland, the Club Subaquatique de Vernier (CSV) is a PADI 5 Star IDC Resort where the full PADI pathway is on offer — from your very first breaths underwater right through to professional levels, spanning recreational, tec and freediving. With 35 PADI instructors on the team, it's a place built to take you as far as you want to go.

Courses and local diving

Newcomers can try a PADI Discover Scuba Diving session from USD 52, while the course list runs through ReActivate refreshers, Enriched Air, Open Water eLearning and Advanced Open Water. As a club, CSV organises regular trips to the region's lakes as well as boat outings on Lake Geneva, with local dive sites including Hermance, Le mystère de la Cathédrale, Genthod Hollow and La Cochère.

An onsite training pool, dive boat, air fills, Nitrox and Trimix, plus equipment and scooter (DPV) rental round out the setup. With staff speaking seven languages, it suits everyone from first-timers to technical and freedivers looking for a well-equipped home base.
