Coconut Yokohama

COCONUT DIVE is part of a network of four stores across Japan, with branches in Tokyo and here in Yokohama, plus affiliated shops on the Okinawa main island and Ishigaki Island. As a PADI 5 Star Dive Center with three PADI instructors on hand, the team is set up to support divers at every stage of their journey.

Courses and tours for every level

Coconut Yokohama certifies roughly 200 people through beginner diving licence courses each year, and runs the full ladder of PADI training — from first-time licences all the way up to instructor courses. Individual courses can be arranged too, so newcomers and those chasing a professional rating are equally at home.

Trips reach well beyond the local waters, taking in the Izu Peninsula, Boso Peninsula, Miura Peninsula, Okinawa and overseas destinations. The Izu Islands feature strongly, among them Izu Oshima, Toshima, Shikinejima, Kozushima, Miyakejima, Hachijojima and Ogasawara, alongside expeditions to unexplored spots such as Zenith and Inamba. Underwater you might encounter sharks, whales, turtles, rays, eels, molluscs, corals and reef fish.
