Columbia Scuba

Columbia Scuba is a vibrant, friendly PADI 5 Star IDC in the heart of South Carolina, set in Columbia in the United States. With a team of 16 PADI Instructors, this is a dive shop built around community — its active Dive Club runs nearly every weekend, making it easy to find a dive buddy and join the dive family.

Courses and who it suits

The center offers the PADI Open Water Diver course, a roughly 5-day program and a natural starting point for newcomers. With instructors who enjoy helping divers of every experience level, plus a Course Director on site, Columbia Scuba also suits those aiming to become PADI Pros. Adaptive Diving and EFR first-aid training round out the offering.

A well-stocked retail shop covers everything from complete scuba packages to air fills from the mixed-gas filling station, with Nitrox, equipment sales, and rental gear available. On-site facilities include a classroom, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and an Adaptive Services Facility. English is spoken.
