Corto Divers

Set on the waterfront across Busuanga and Coron in the Philippines, Corto Divers is a PADI-certified dive center built around the wreck-strewn, coral-rich waters of Palawan. With two PADI instructors, English and Filipino spoken, and an onsite training pool and classroom, it's a welcoming base whether you're taking your first breaths underwater or logging technical wreck dives.

Courses and dive sites

The center runs nine courses and activities, from PADI Discover Scuba Diving for newcomers to Advanced Open Water, Deep Diver, Enriched Air, and Wreck Diver certifications. There are also 2- and 3-dive wreck packages in Coron for those who want to go straight to the shipwrecks.

Local diving spans the famous Japanese wrecks — Akitsushima, Okikawa Maru, Kogyo Maru, Olympia Maru, Irako, and the Lusong Gunboat among them — plus the surreal thermoclines of Barracuda Lake and the coral gardens of Siete Picados. Divers may encounter sharks, rays, turtles, and whales along the way. Services include air fills, nitrox, free Wi-Fi, and a dive boat, making Corto Divers a solid fit for reef and wreck divers of every level.
