Daktari Surf & Dive

Set on the coast of Warrnambool in South West Victoria, Australia, Daktari Surf & Dive is a PADI 5 Star Dive Centre and Adaptive Services Facility. Its instructors are Master Scuba Diver Trainers with more than 22 Specialty Instructor Ratings, including an Adaptive Techniques Specialty rating, and over 40 years in the industry.

Courses and diving

Training runs as private lessons or small groups with flexible schedules, and all gear is provided — dive suits, tanks, weights, BCDs, regulators, boots and fins — or you can bring your own. Divers can work toward the PADI Divemaster or the PADI Night Diver certification, with access to a heated indoor pool in Warrnambool and open water sites at Warrnambool and Port Fairy.

Beyond the classroom, the team is passionate about the aquatic environment, running clean-up dives and Citizen Science projects such as the Annual Fish count and Sea Slug Census. Dive sites like Popes Eye Marine National Park, Flinders Pier and Stingray Bay put sharks, whales, turtles and ocean fish within reach — a welcoming fit for new and adaptive divers alike.
