About Devocean Dive
On Australia's Gold Coast, Devocean Dive is a PADI 5 Star centre built around a simple idea: this isn't a part-time hobby for us — it's what we breathe, eat and live every day. With three PADI Instructors on the team, our two lead Instructors bring over 65 years of combined experience diving and teaching on the Gold Coast, backed by an impeccable safety record.
Learn and dive the Gold Coast Seaway
We offer a huge range of PADI courses with flexible learning, from your PADI Open Water Dive Course through freediving, snorkelling and EFR first aid. Most of our diving is shore-based, thanks to a "marine superhighway" right on our doorstep — over 600 species have been recorded in the Gold Coast Seaway, and counting.
The western beach area suits photographers and calmer-water novices, while the Southern wall serves up bioluminescent night dives and drift dives past turtles, rays and pelagics. You can also potter around the pipes hunting seahorses and angler fish. Whatever your certification level, there's something here for you.

★ 5 · Tae Baker · 2012-06-18Sometimes it can feel like the more you dive, the more you see the same things - and this can be very true of dive guides or instructors. One thing I love about the crew at Devocean Dive and why I continue to return to them after trying other dive centres, is because they LOVE it. They see a dolphin and it is like the very first dolphin they have ever seen. This sense of excitement and joy carries through the rest of the divers and you can't help but have a fantastic time. They know the areas they dive incredibly well, so will always find amazing things to show you. They are also value for money, down to earth and incredibly safe. The dive club (you can be a paying or free member) is fantastic. From regular local dives (you can just go and hangout at their regular dive sites while they have their classes to get your dives up), BBQs, event nights, intra and interstate dive trips as well as a number of trip of a lifetime international trips each year. Finally, learning to dive with Devocean means that you actually learn to dive. I first dived with Devocean in 2005 and continue to do so - they really are the best in town.
