Tucked into Viani Bay, Dive Academy Fiji is a 5-Star PADI Dive Resort and the only PADI Freediving Center on the Rainbow Reef. Whether you arrive as a guest of the boutique eco-resort, drop in for a day trip, or anchor in the bay aboard your yacht, the experience here is built around you — boats are limited to just four dive guests, with each outing shaped by the tides, local conditions, and your experience level.

Courses and what sets it apart

With two PADI Instructors, the center runs everything from the PADI Open Water Diver Course to the PADI Freediver eLearning track and the Open Water Referral Part 2/2. It's known for the shortest boat rides to the world-renowned Rainbow Reef, including the iconic Great White Wall — and because schedules stay flexible, divers can reach the Wall on almost any day of the month.

From April to November, you can join an excursion to Manta Reef, while house guests can experience the reef by night. With its own coral farm and community scholarships, Dive Academy Fiji suits divers who want a personal, conservation-minded base. English, French, and German are spoken.
