Plan this trip with AI →Established in 1982 and run by the same owner, Ron Hunter, for the last thirty years, Dive Forster is one of the most respected and awarded dive centres on the east coast of Australia. Ron's daughter Gabby operates the centre alongside him, supported by a team of experienced Divemasters and Instructors. Between them, Ron and Gabby bring a combined 40 years of experience, and both are qualified ocean-going Commercial Vessel Masters.
As a PADI 5 Star Dive Center with four PADI Instructors, Dive Forster offers a full range of courses, from Open Water through to Divemaster. Two full-time instructors are on hand, with PADI Freediver courses run by Gabby and Sidemount courses with Steve. The team has a deep, intimate knowledge of cetaceans, Grey Nurse Sharks and the fish life of the temperate waters along the Barrington Coast.
Based at Fisherman's Wharf, this waterfront centre also runs Whale Watching tours offshore during the Humpback Whale migration season. With sharks, whales, turtles, rays and much more to encounter, Dive Forster suits divers of every level looking to explore the temperate seas around Forster and Tuncurry.

★ 1 · Simon Lines · 2012-10-29There is nothing worse than a beautiful day and no one to dive with. These guys advertise that they dive everyday but I tried everyday for 3 days with not a breath of wind and flat seas. But no diving. All I can say is if you contact these guys don't expect to go diving.
