Dive Terry's

Dive Terry's has been part of the diving scene in Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture, since it opened in 1986. As a PADI 5 Star ID Center staffed by two PADI instructors, it's a place geared toward turning curious first-timers into confident divers — and helping certified divers keep going further.

Learn at your own pace

One of the center's standout features is the heated pool inside the store, so you can start diving whenever you like, no matter the season. Newcomers can try Discover Scuba Diving, while ongoing training, guiding, and PADI courses cover the full journey from first breath underwater to more advanced skills.

English-speaking instructors make Dive Terry's a comfortable choice for international divers, with instruction and guiding available in both English and Japanese. Out in the waters of Shizuoka, divers may encounter sharks, whales, turtles, ocean fish, and more. With an onsite classroom, retail shop, and a full range of rental equipment for adults and kids alike, it suits everyone from complete beginners to travelling divers looking for a well-equipped local base.
