Diveaway Fiji at the Warwick Resort

Tucked into the beautiful Coral Coast of Viti Levu, Fiji's main island, Diveaway Fiji is the only dive centre on the western side of the island, operating from a base at the Warwick Resort with a waterfront dive shop beside the Activities Centre. Since 2003 this small, friendly team has been sharing its corner of Beqa Lagoon, and it's become the dive shop of choice for many of the boutique resorts and backpackers along the coast.

Small groups, quiet reefs

Groups are kept deliberately small, and with no other operators on these sites you'll never find a crowd underwater — see fish, not bubbles. The diving ranges from dramatic walls and coral-covered reef slopes to adrenalin-charged drift dives, with frequent encounters with turtles, sharks, eagle rays, barracudas and prolific soft and hard coral. Gorgonian fans hosting crinoids and longnosed hawkfish make it a photographer's delight.

As a PADI Dive Center with three PADI instructors, Diveaway Fiji suits everyone from complete beginners to seasoned divers. Sites lie close to base — the furthest just 10 minutes away — allowing civilised morning two-tank dives, usually back by 12.00. They dive seven days a week, with night dives on request.
