Divepoint Scuba Center

Divepoint Scuba Center is central Wisconsin's oldest dive center, established in 1981 in Stevens Point. Its two PADI instructors have been teaching since 1977, so whether you're stepping into a wetsuit for the first time or building toward a specialty, you're in experienced hands. Beyond scuba, the shop caters to climbing, swim, camping, longboarding and outdoor gear needs.

Courses and dive sites

PADI training runs deep here, with the PADI Enriched Air Diver, Rescue Diver and Wreck Diver courses on offer. Local and travel dive sites span Wazee Lake, Bluegill Alley and Munising, Michigan, alongside Caribbean names like Karpata, Hilma Hooker, LaLaguna Point and Andrea 1. Group trips head to the Caribbean each Fall and Winter — Bonaire every November — plus summer Great Lakes wreck diving.

On site you'll find a classroom, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi and a retail shop, with air fills, Nitrox, equipment sales and rentals to match. It's a welcoming home base for divers who want safe, fun and memorable time underwater.
