At Diver Dan's, the mission is simple: to lead the Northern California diving community through excellent service, a strong selection of products, and a firm commitment to diver education and safety. As a PADI 5 Star IDC centre with 22 PADI Instructors, this Santa Cruz operation treats diving as a philosophy of excellence rather than just a business.

Courses and services

The centre offers a full range of PADI training, from Scuba Diving and Freediving to Snorkelling, First Aid – EFR, and Public Safety Diver, alongside a conservation focus. An onsite training pool and classroom, air-conditioned and Wi-Fi-equipped, make learning comfortable, while air fills, Nitrox, and Trimix support divers of every level.

Beyond training, Diver Dan's runs a retail shop with equipment sales, servicing, and rental for adults and kids, plus a dive club and travel options. English is spoken, and with free parking on site, it suits students, families, and experienced divers alike who want a well-rounded home base in Santa Cruz.
