Divers Den

For half a century, Divers Den has been introducing visitors to the Great Barrier Reef from its base in Cairns, Australia — making it not only the largest but one of the longest-established diving and snorkelling companies in the area. Whether you're a first-timer or a seasoned diver, the focus stays the same: your safety and your enjoyment underwater.

Courses for every level

With all training facilities housed under one roof, Divers Den holds PADI 5 Star CDC and PADI ECO CENTRE status, backed by 31 PADI instructors. The course range runs the full ladder — from PADI Open Water Diver, both day-trip and liveaboard formats, through Advanced Open Water Diver, Rescue Diver and Divemaster, all the way to the PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor (IDC).

Out on the water, divers explore reef sites including Hastings Reef, Coral Gardens and The Wild Side, where sharks, whales, turtles and ocean fish are among the marine life on show. Facilities include an onsite training pool, classroom, dive boat and accommodation, with service offered in English and German.
