Divers Down

Divers Down is the only Career Development Center in the UAE, GCC and Northern Africa — a classification reserved for dive centers meeting the highest requirements for training. Based on the waterfront at Al Aqah, it has been known since 2001 for its warm, family feel and top-level educational programs, delivered by a team of 6 PADI Instructors.

Courses and diving

As a PADI 5 Star CDC, Divers Down offers the complete range of PADI courses from beginner to Instructor level. Options include the PADI Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver (both with eLearning), Scuba Diver, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Underwater Navigator, Dry Suit Diver and the Dive Against Debris conservation program. Guided fun diving covers 2 dives per day with full equipment and a guide.

Local dive sites are wonderfully varied, from Martini Rock, Snoopy Island and Shark Island to Hole in the Wall, the Coral and Anemone Gardens, and the Inchcape wrecks. Onsite you'll find a training pool, classroom, retail shop, dive boat and accommodation. With instruction available in English, Italian, Portuguese, Arabic and more, it suits divers of every level.
