Diving School Io Esaka

Tucked away near Esaka Station in Osaka, Diving School Io Esaka is a genuine oasis in the city — easily reached from Toyonaka, Ibaraki, Itami and Umeda. As a PADI 5 Star IDC centre with five PADI Instructors, this is a school that truly handles everything related to diving, from license acquisition to fun diving.

Courses and dive sites

Because the course director works full-time at the school, an unusually broad range of classes is possible here — step-up courses, instructor courses and technical diving all sit alongside recreational training and equipment handling. Divers head out to local sites such as Otomi Beach and Minabe Syougase, where sharks, whales, turtles and ocean fish are among the marine life to look for.

The shop keeps an onsite classroom, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi and a retail shop, plus parking. Full scuba, kids' and travel equipment rental is available, and staff assist in both English and Japanese — so drop by any time.
