Diving School Marea Meieki

As one of Japan's largest diving schools, Diving School Marea spans 12 branches across Tokyo, Yokohama, Nagoya, Osaka, Fukuoka, and Okinawa — and the Marea Meieki store sits just an 8-minute walk from Nagoya Station Exit 1, making it easy to drop in after work or on weekends. The school has won the PADI National Award nine times, an honour given to only one PADI dive centre out of roughly 500 in the country.

Courses and training

As a PADI 5 Star Dive Center with 4 PADI instructors, Marea Meieki runs step-up courses that help divers build their skills and keep diving for the long term. The branch has its own heated swimming pool, so even those who aren't strong swimmers can practise at their own pace, alongside an onsite classroom, air conditioning, a retail shop, and an aquarium/deep pool.

Services include PADI Scuba Diving and PADI First Aid (EFR) training, equipment sales and rental, scooter (DPV) rental, and conservation activities.
