Diving School Marea Tokyo

Diving School Marea Tokyo is a PADI 5 Star Dive Center based in Tokyo, and a leading name among Japan's diving schools. Marea has grown into a network of stores across the Kanto and Okinawa areas — from Ikebukuro, Yokohama, Nihonbashi and Shinjuku to Naha, Ginowan, Ishigaki and Miyakojima — so divers can easily use whichever store suits them best.

Courses, sites and who it suits

As a PADI 5 Star centre, Marea offers PADI scuba diving instruction, with an onsite classroom for study before you get in the water. The team points divers towards diving in Izu as well as the seas around Okinawa, making it a natural base whether you're heading south to Okinawa or exploring closer to Tokyo.

On-site services include air fills, nitrox, equipment sales and travel support, plus a full range of rental gear — from 3mm, 5mm and 7mm wetsuits and children's sizes to regulators, BCDs, dive computers and even rebreather (CCR) equipment. Staff speak English, Spanish, French, German and Portuguese, so international divers are well looked after.
