Diving shop Namidea Yokohama

Namidea is a friendly scuba diving shop in Yokohama built around small-group lessons and personalized support. As a PADI 5-Star Dive Center with four PADI instructors, it's a place where questions get answered properly and no one gets lost in the crowd.

Courses and diving

The focus is on helping beginners safely earn their license and explore the underwater world, with experienced instructors guiding each step. Beyond certification, Namidea runs trial dives, tours and underwater photography, so divers of all levels have somewhere to go next.

The shop has an onsite classroom with air conditioning and a retail shop, and handles both equipment sales and scuba equipment rental — open-heel fins, BCD, mask and snorkel, drysuit, 5mm wetsuit and boots. Staff speak English and Japanese, and the doors are open every day of the week from 11:00 AM to 07:00 PM.
