Dixie Divers: South Florida's Full-Service Dive Home
Based in Boca Raton and Deerfield Beach, Dixie Divers has been part of the South Florida community for over 25 years. As a PADI 5 Star IDC centre with 21 PADI instructors, it's the only full-service dive shop in South Florida with an on-site swimming pool for training, comfortable classrooms, and a fully stocked showroom carrying all the major scuba brands.
Weekly charters aboard the custom dive boat M/V Lady Go Diver run Tuesday through Sunday, heading out to the Southern Broward County Reefs and local wrecks. Divers regularly encounter sharks, turtles, ocean fish, rays, eels, molluscs and crustaceans, corals and more across these waters.
The team covers PADI Scuba Diving, TecRec, Freediving, Mermaid, Snorkelling and EFR First Aid, alongside air fills, Nitrox, Trimix, equipment sales, service and rental. A family-friendly, one-stop shop with a dive club and travel options, Dixie Divers suits every diver — from first-timers to those advancing their skills.

★ 2 · jaylee Stamen · 2010-07-08Really disappointed when the owner of a company doesn't care about his business. Even his employees complained about him. Complaints: 1) never checks PADI or other dive certification which makes it quite dangerous for all diving. 2) told us when we called to make reservations that the equipment would be on the boat waiting for us. NOT that we would have to drive, pick up the tanks and equipment, drive to the boat, load them on the boat, and after the dive return them to the shop. We were four people-8 tanks, we might have rented a different car had we known this in advance. We specifically asked this question. 3) leased us faulty equipment and when we talked to him about this he could not care less. 4) when a number of people didn't have compasses for the reef dives he would not change the schedule. He is ornery, not cooperative, never smiles and makes what a fun time should be not so much fun. Would never give him my business again--way too much cmpetition in the area. His divemaster Fernardo was great and so was the ship's captain. Having arguments daily with the owner was a real bummer.
