Dodo Divers

Set on the north coast of Mauritius, Dodo Divers is a PADI 5 Star IDC centre operating out of Trou Aux Biches and Grand Baie. With four PADI Instructors on the team, the focus here is guided diving delivered in a friendly, professional and safety-conscious way — the kind of relaxed setting that lets you simply enjoy the water.

Courses and who it suits

Whether you're starting out or building on existing skills, there's a clear path forward. The PADI Scuba Diver and Open Water Diver courses take beginners from first breaths to certified, while the Advanced Open Water Diver and Open Water Referral Part 2/2 suit divers ready for the next step. An onsite training pool and classroom make learning comfortable, and courses are taught in both English and French.

Divers here share the water with sharks, whales, turtles and plenty of ocean fish. The waterfront base comes with air conditioning, a retail shop, dive boat and parking, plus air fills, Nitrox and full equipment rental — including kids' sizes — so newcomers and returning divers alike are well looked after.
