Set on the waterfront in Gulf Shores, Alabama, Down Under Dive Shop is a PADI 5 Star IDC centre built to help divers of every level enjoy a safe, easy day in the water. Whether you're taking your first breaths underwater or logging your hundredth dive, a team of 5 PADI Instructors is on hand to guide the way.

The shop runs a full slate of PADI training — from Scuba Diving and Freediving to Mermaid, Snorkelling, First Aid (EFR), Public Safety Diver and Adaptive Diving. Partnered Divemasters and Instructors lead guided snorkelling and beach diving, while charter boats like the "Down Under" head out to offshore sites such as Fairfield and New Venture along the Gulf Coast.

On the marine-life front, expect sharks, whales, turtles, rays, ocean fish and more. Facilities include an onsite classroom, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, a retail shop and parking, with air fills, Nitrox, Trimix and mixed gas plus full equipment sales and rentals. It suits new and seasoned divers alike, all served in English.
