Emerald Sea Diving

Emerald Sea Diving is a PADI Dive Center in Portland, Oregon, opened by owner German Dionne. It's a full SCUBA and dive retail shop offering instruction, sales, service, air fills, and rentals — a genuine one-stop base for divers in the area.

Courses and services

Training runs through PADI, including PADI Scuba Diving courses and PADI First Aid – EFR, supported by an onsite classroom with air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. Beyond instruction, the shop handles equipment sales, service, and air fills, and rents out a complete kit: open-heel fins, BCD, 7mm wetsuit, mask and snorkel, regulator, dive computer, boots, and aluminum cylinders. Onsite parking and a retail floor round out the setup.

Staff speak English and Spanish, making it welcoming for a range of divers. The marine life associated with the shop's diving spans sharks, whales, turtles, molluscs and crustaceans, corals, anemones and jellyfish, eels and echinoderms — plenty to draw both new students and returning divers looking for a reliable home shop.
