About Exmouth Dive & Whalesharks Ningaloo

Tucked into the heart of Exmouth in Western Australia, Exmouth Dive & Whalesharks Ningaloo is the Ningaloo's only PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Centre — a place built for divers who want to grow. With 16 PADI Instructors on the team and a full slate of PADI scuba diving, freediving and snorkelling programmes, it suits everyone from first-timers to those chasing professional certification.

Diving the Ningaloo

The centre is famous for its whale sharks, but the reef rewards repeat visits. Humpback whales pass through from June until October, manta rays appear along the reef from May to November, and green, loggerhead and hawksbill turtles nest from October through to March. Add 250 species of coral and over 450 species of fish — including local reef sharks — and every dive feels different. Favourite sites include Blizzard Ridge, Lighthouse Bay and Ningaloo Reef.

On land you'll find an onsite classroom, air conditioning, a retail shop, parking and a dive boat, with air fills, equipment sales and rental all on hand. The team speaks English, Spanish, French, German and Italian, welcoming divers from around the world.
