Firefly Ocean Camp

At Firefly Ocean Camp in Diani, Kenya, spectacular diving awaits divers of all levels. Beginners dive under the supervision of an experienced PADI instructor and are quickly astonished by the wealth and diversity of marine life along this stretch of coast.

Dive sites with their own specialities

What makes the area so rewarding is the sheer variety from one site to the next. Deeper dives bring encounters with larger predatory fish, while shallower reefs reveal an abundance of hard and soft corals and a large, diverse selection of fish species. Other sites are tailor-made for macro photography, where well-camouflaged creatures and the weird and wonderful reward a patient eye. Look out for sharks, whales, turtles and ocean fish.

As a PADI Resort, the centre offers air fills, scuba equipment rental and PADI scuba diving, supported by an onsite training pool and a dive boat. Water temperatures range from 24–26°C in July–September and 26–30°C from October to April. English is spoken, making it a natural fit for first-timers and experienced divers alike.
