FLARE DIVE

FLARE DIVE is a certified PADI Dive Resort based in the heart of Onna Village, Okinawa. This Korean-managed dive shop welcomes divers of every level — from those taking their first breaths underwater to returning divers eager to explore Okinawa's clear blue sea again. English, Japanese, and Korean are all spoken here, with three PADI instructors on hand to guide the way.

Courses and diving

The centre runs PADI courses from Open Water and Advanced Open Water through to Rescue Diver and Divemaster, alongside specialties such as Enriched Air Nitrox, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Night Diver, Digital Underwater Photographer, and Dive Against Debris. Training pairs online learning with practical sessions to keep you in the water and off the land. Rental gear — BCDs, regulators, wetsuits, and dive computers — is inspected, cleaned, and dried after every use.

Onna's central position opens up dive tours across the island, including the Manza, Motobu, and Nakijin dive tours, each running three dives. Guests may spot turtles, eels, molluscs, corals, and reef fish. An onsite classroom, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and onsite accommodation round out the stay.
