Frontier Diving School

Frontier Diving School has been shaping careful, capable divers in Tokyo, Japan since it opened in July 1996. The philosophy is simple: help each person become a safe diver with solid skills by tailoring every course to their physical ability and learning pace. To make that possible, license courses run with a maximum of two guests per instructor, and even fun-diving tours stay in small groups of up to four.

A PADI 5 Star centre built for confidence

As a PADI 5 Star Dive Center with three PADI Instructors, Frontier is well suited to newcomers who want unhurried, high-quality training as well as certified divers looking to keep progressing. Once you hold your licence, the school opens the door to adventure tours — resort trips to Okinawa or the Maldives, underwater ruins exploration, and dive cruises.

On site you'll find a classroom, free Wi-Fi and a retail shop, with equipment sales and a full range of scuba and travel gear for rent. Courses and guiding are offered in Japanese.
