Fun & Sun Malapascua

Perched on Malapascua Island in the Philippines, Fun & Sun Malapascua is a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort staffed by 4 PADI instructors who speak 4 languages — English, Spanish, French, and Filipino. With a house reef right on its waterfront doorstep, it's a welcoming base for divers of every level to get in the water quickly and often.

Courses and dive sites

The center runs 11 courses and activities, from the PADI Discover Scuba Dive for first-timers through to the PADI Rescue Diver and Divemaster courses for those going pro. Guided outings include morning and afternoon fun dives around Malapascua, three dives at Gato Island, two dives at Kalanggaman, and the celebrated shark dive to Kimud and Monad Shoal.

Divers explore sites such as Chocolate Island, Lapus Lapus, Deep Rock, the Lighthouse and Dona Marilyn wrecks, and the Exotic House Reef. The waters here host sharks and rays, turtles, ocean fish, eels, molluscs and crustaceans, corals and anemones. On-site facilities include an air-conditioned classroom, free Wi-Fi, a retail shop, dive boat, accommodation, and food and drinks.
