Giant Stride Dive Shop welcomes local New England divers with friendly, knowledgeable and professional service. As a PADI 5 Star IDC authorised dive centre in Providence, its team of two PADI Instructors delivers hands-on classroom instruction backed by the latest educational resources and technology.

Courses for every level

Whether you're just starting out or building toward advanced certification, there's something here for you. Beginner packages bundle instruction, books and gear, while more experienced divers can work through a full range of PADI specialty courses, advanced certifications and TecRec technical training.

The shop sells triple-filtered air that's tested quarterly, with results posted in plain view so you can verify them yourself. Custom Nitrox, Trimix, mixed gas and Argon for drysuits are available, alongside equipment sales and scuba rental. Facilities include an onsite classroom, air conditioning, a retail shop, a dive boat and parking.

Local diving centres on Fort Wetherill State Park, where the waters host sharks, whales, turtles, ocean fish, eels, molluscs, crustaceans, corals, anemones and more. English is spoken throughout.
