Gigglin' Marlin Dive & Swim

Based in Houston, Texas, Gigglin' Marlin Dive & Swim is a PADI 5 Star IDC dive center with a team of 34 PADI instructors ready to guide you from your very first breaths underwater to advanced training. Whether you want to try the sport or build serious skills, this is a place set up to teach.

Courses and training

Newcomers can start with PADI Discover Scuba Diving (from USD 60, around two hours), while the PADI Enriched Air Diver course (from USD 50, about an hour) and the six-day PADI Open Water Diver Course (from USD 900) take you further. For experienced divers drawn to scuba's more extreme side, the center also offers technical diving training and trips, backed by trimix and nitrox fills. An onsite training pool and classroom, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, a retail shop and parking round out the facilities.

Local diving centers on Mammoth Lake, and group trips head to top dive destinations further afield, with a chance to encounter sharks, whales, turtles and ocean fish. With English, Spanish and Turkish spoken, it suits a wide range of divers.
